Maps For That!

Add date/time stamps to comments. Plus, email notifications to promote discussion.
After adding a map, someone commented on it. As the contributor, I had no idea that someone added a comment. It could have been a question. I only found the comment because I manually returned to the page. Let's add standard commenting functionality that lets contributors receive notifications when someone comments on their post. Also, people adding comments should have the option to subscribe to the thread after they contribute their input.

Creating Depth in Maps
We need the ability to extend beyond two dimensional representation. I'd like to be able to create Map Layers (think depth). Currently, we can create map nodes that are essentially links to other maps. What I'd like to be able to do is to see the layered / linked maps represented in the background. This could be done by displaying transparent and spatially adjusted (smaller) linked Mindmaps in behind the object. Being able to display additional map dimensions will be extremely helpful.

Provide numbers for downloads of a map, beyond number of views for map.
Many users visit specific map to view and then decide whether to download or not. So, often downloads are less than views. But these download numbers give REAL idea of the value of that map.

Viewing Maps for That on iPad
The iPad has become my favourite way to create and view my personal maps. Of course it can't offer me all the sophistication I need but it meets my needs most of the time. Touch-based interfaces are a revolution for digital mindmapping so I was therefore surprised that I couldn't view Maps for That. When I have created large maps the iPad is an ideal way to view them as you can move around the branches so easily. Are there any plans for a non-Flash solution? I access other people's ideas (through articles, blogs, photographs, videos and artwork) on my… more

Mindmaps in DevonThink
Dear all,
I'm using DevonThink Pro (DTP) and Mindmanager (MM) and I'm very happy with both programs to store thoughts, notes and much more. However, as DTP is a knowledge management database it needs to be able to search in files. Unfortunately, Mindmanager does not belong to the readable and searchable files. I guess it won't be a "big thing" to make MM searchable by DTP. So my question/suggestion to you is, to please make .mmap a file format for DTP as well.
I think, good knowledge shouldn't be limited by file formats. What do you think? Thanks in advance. … more

Let me update the custom properties of a topic without having to recreate them from scratch
In MindManager 2012, if I add custom properties to a topic, I have no way to go back and add additional fields or add new entries to a pick list field. The only option is to delete all the custom properties and start over from scratch. I would like an option (maybe in the context menu of the custom properties icon) to define additional or update existing properties. Right now the only options I get are to add values to the existing properties (edit) or remove all of them.

allow the maps to be opened full screen
The current map view is limited in size. For large maps, it's a nightmare to keep scrolling around.

A fishbone is such a basic mapping and can be done very fast with a tool like MindManager, but you don't offer that. Why?
A fishbone is such a basic mapping and can be done very fast with a tool like MindManager, but you don't offer that. Why? I want to be able to use the cool shortcut keys in your tool to add subordinate legs of the Ishakawa diagram and move around just like any other mindmap. So frustrating that I can't use my favorite brainstorming tool to use this very common function. Can't even to a Left flowing diagram from the formatting options, which would at least be a start, but really want to sit in a room with a team and… more

Name of task in gantt chart
Good morning,
I have a lot tasks for a lot of different people for each topic. When gantt chart is created, it is very confusing for them to connect tasks with related main topic. Any chance to add in chantt somehow automatically name of topic to task? Many thanks VM2 votes
